Carol Service at St John’s Church Cymmer
As usual our annual carol service was organised by Miss Beth Morgan and Mrs Sarah Wareham, supported by our peripatetic staff. The congregation were enthralled by the musical talent of the young people as we were all entertained by a selection of carols and readings.

Cordon Bleu Chef and our Year 10 Catering Students
Year 10 GCSE Catering students were given a rare treat in lessons this term when well known chef Tony of O’Sullivans restaurant in Llantrisant visited our school.

They got to taste ‘Reindeer’ and garlic amongst other tasty meats when Tony gave them a demonstration of a variety of cordon bleu cooking!
Top priority of the lesson was the importance of personal hygiene as Tony showed the correct procedure of handling food. The visit was organised by Angela Parry of the Education Business Partnership.
