School Facilities

Our school has excellent facilities available to all our students. As part of our commitment to the local community our facilities are open to local clubs and associations after school hours and throughout the holidays.

Our all weather playing field is used for soccer, rugby, hockey, athletics, cricket and rounders.

The indoor swimming pool is used to improve swimming technique in all strokes, learn basic survival and life saving skills and to gain awards in distance and challenge skill

We have a large sports hall which is used for basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, 5-a-side football and cricket nets practic

There is a dance studio – used for dance, aerobics, step aerobics and Pilates

Our main school hall is used for gymnastics, table tennis, and dance.

We have a number of computer rooms which are all connected to the school intranet system allowing students access during lessons, lunch time and after school sessions.

The learning resource centre, known to everyone as the library has a vast range of resources for research as well as a quiet area to read. There are activities held during the lunch hour to entertain and educate our students. It is a time for fun and staff and students always get together to take part in the popular events.

There is now a Digital Laboratory available to students over 16 which accommodates a range of high tech equipment from radio station editing equipment to digital cameras and video recording equipment.
