E3

In association with local partnerships, the school has successfully established an exciting, enriching and extending curricular programme for students that extend the school day and this is known as ‘E3’.

This is a challenging programme open to all students who take part in a diverse range of activities.

These include some more unusual leisure activities such as aqua aerobics, canoeing and quad biking to engaging in arts and crafts programmes with professional artists, musicians, dancers and circus performers.

We provide:

  • All activities are free at all venues and sites
  • Transport at no cost
  • Refreshments
  • Over 26 activities a week
  • Unlimited use of facilities at a local sports centre
  • Outdoor pursuits at Tir Gwaidd Farm, Wattstown during summer term

We believe that a healthier and more active population will lead to a more positively engaged community.

Porth County Community School is proud to achieve the ‘Schools Community Award 2005’ from ContinYou.  This award identifies and celebrates examples of good practice that promote school improvement by enhancing learning and community development.
