THE DIGILAB

With the support of CREDU, Canllaw Online and Fujitsu we have obtained a digital laboratory.

This is a resource that we have within the school which is available to year 12 and 13 students. It is also available to Teachers who wish to bring in small classes.

Mrs M. Rees is the facilitator.

Resources available are :

• Video Camera
• Interactive Whiteboard
• Scanner
• Webcams
• Multi Media Centre
• Mp3 Players
• Recording Equipment
• Printers

There are various software packages on the computers including:

• FruityLoops (a music editing package);
• MSN;
• Adobe Photoshop (picture editing software);
• Dragon Naturally Speaking (voice recognition software).

Mrs Rees is in the Digilab from 2:40 till 4:45 Monday and Wednesday for E3.

From 5:45 until 7:25 it is given over to E3+ outside agencies to come in and deliver various courses.
