Department of Science

Our department is very successful. All students are encouraged to maximise their potential against national standards (examination results at Key Stage 4 are well above Local Education Authority and G.C.S.E. standards.)

The department operates a very effective ‘accelerated curriculum programme’ and as a consequence students at our school are encouraged to complete G.C.S.E. Science examinations in years 9 and 10. The standard of achievement within all classes is excellent.
