Department of Religious Education
Our department comprises of three full time subject specialist teachers – Miss J Price, Curriculum Co-ordinator, Miss L Morris and Miss V Chiplin.

Our subject is taught across all key stages with Christianity, Hinduism and Islam being taught in Key Stage 3.
At Key Stage 4 we follow the GCSE full course in contemporary Christianity and Judaism and also offer WJEC short course GCSE.
The A level courses studied are Islam, Hinduism and Ethics.
How do we teach Religious Education in our school?
Our lessons are creative, multi-sensory experiences that involve various activities including role play, singing, model making, dancing, artwork and dressing up. This is in addition to developing literacy, Information Communication Technology and communication skills.
